Part I:  History

Karl Marx (1818-1883) and his junior partner Friedrich Engels (1820-1895) did not invent Socialism in the mid-1800s when they first rose to fame with the 1848 Communist Manifesto, a rabble-rousing tract.  “Das Kapital,” published much later, purported to be ‘scientific.’  Karl Marx had a PhD in Philosophy from the prestigious University of Berlin.  By the end of the 19^th Century, the Prestige of the word ‘Science’ was paramount.  Real Science is a precise Methodology to ensure maximum reliability of its judgments.

Back on October 9, in an essay sarcastically titled “Methods and Procedures 101,” I tried to explain the eternal prestigious hoax of Marxism as a Science.  Today’s essay is about my introduction to Socialism – Marxism or otherwise.

I received an excellent NYC public school education from 1950 to 1962 and a BS Science degreed CCNY education in the 1960s.  Socialism only showed up in college Economics 101 – a mandatory 3-credit college course.  The $10 textbook was “Macroeconomics” by Paul Samuelson, the father-in-law of Joseph Epstein’s buddy Larry Summers of Harvard and Democrat Party politics fame.  That textbook was the best-selling textbook in the 20^th Century, universally used.  It implied that Soviet Marxist Socialism was a viable alternative form of economic development to Free Enterprise Capitalism.

The collapse of the USSR only began to become obvious to the outside world in its third generation in the 1970s when they had to purchase massive quantities of grain to feed their population, because they had so mismanaged Ukrainian agriculture – the richest farmland in all of Europe and known as such as far back as the Classical Era when Herodotus writes about the surprise of the Persian invaders of Greece in 480 BCE at the endless stream of grain ships coming down from the Black Sea.

For many decades (unbeknownst to the average and educated Free World citizen) the USSR secretly acquired costly necessities from overseas by the judicious private selling – largely through Switzerland – of luxury goods and commodities.  They sold diamonds, gold and the rarest fur (sable) that only existed in the wild in the USSR.  The Czarist Government had acquired, over the centuries, a treasure trove of great works of Art worth billions of dollars, kept in a place called the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.  After the Revolution, some of those masterpieces were secretly sold for foreign money too.

The prestigious Academic dumbbell Paul Samuelson took their bogus official 5-year plan statistics at face value as if the USSR, with its Marxist SCIENTIFIC Socialism really worked.  (The minimum requirement for real Science requires unending repetitive skeptical testing.  Paul Samuelson, like every other winner of the prestigious fraudulent Nobel Prize for Economic Science save one, never required testing.  That one exception, Milton Friedman, studied the thousands of years of old records of ‘money’ and commerce proving that Inflation is caused by excess money supply.  Early on this website in 2016, you will find four essays amplifying all this.)

The Cold War ended when the Reagan military build-up with expensive new technologies bankrupted the USSR’s phony economic system.  The Hard-Left Muslim Brotherhood Alliance (HL-MBA) in control of almost all Western Institutions – especially universities – prefers to believe that the Muslim Brotherhood (Mujahadin) Warriors (with American supplied anti-tank and surface-to-air anti-helicopter missiles) defeated the Red Army in Afghanistan in the 1980s.  They even made a misleading Glorification movie about it called “Charlie Wilson’s War” in 2007.  (There are, in this movie, more spectacularly beautiful gorgeous women than you would have found in an explicitly pornographic movie fifty years earlier.)

[When Gorbachev took over the USSR in the middle of the 1980s, the financial collapse was already apparent.  He attempted to open up the economy for growth (which did not exist) with Perestroika (restructuring) and Glasnost (transparency in speech and action).  By the 1980s with Common People forced to wait on long lines for inadequate supplies of basic necessities, Common People amused themselves by declaring: ‘How can they call it Scientific Socialism when they never tested it on rats?’  Watch the movie from the 1980s “Moscow on the Hudson,” starring Robin Williams, for a pathetically accurate portrayal.]

When “Charlie Wilson’s War” was made in 2007, it was six years after 9/11 and, by then, it had long since become a CIA – Western Intelligence delusion that the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist Hydra (that they had vastly amplified, if not created) was officially referred to as ‘Low Intensity’ (and therefore tolerable) warfare.  [As long as the Ruling Class and its family members and close associates are immune from terrorist violence, it will remain tolerable.  No matter how many Israelis, Jews, Druze, sincere practicing Christians in Arab countries and Black Africa, and Hindus are the victims, this Grand Strategy will never change.  (To me, an outsider, the most sincere practicing Christians in the world are in Black Africa, a few Arab-controlled areas and Russia.  Those Black African Christians portray to me the sincere belief in Eternity that early Christians shared even when being eaten by lions in the Coliseum.)  It might require several dozen Macrons, Trudeaus, Starmers and other such super-important betrayers of Western Civilization to be murdered and/or kidnapped to alter this Appeasement Grand Strategy.]

Part II:  Russia and Putin

The Putin-led Russian Government and Federation has long since been fraudulently characterized as the ‘Existential Threat to Civilization.’  This lie requires quite a lot of factual correction.

Putin’s popularity in Russia is based on the fact that Common Citizens in post-Cold War Russia, during the 1990s, were treated with an even worse version of disdain for working class Common Citizens by crooked investment bankers and Western political leaders as they have been in America and elsewhere in Western Civilization.

I must have been over 50-years old when I finally learned an elementary fact about national governments and underground mineral wealth.  Previously, I had assumed that, just like in America, if a farmer who owned his own land found himself sitting on top of gold or fossil fuel or any other valuable commodity, it belonged to him – not the government.  Very few countries, even partially, recognize Private Property Rights that way.  When a Communist (or Socialist) government like the USSR and its Warsaw Pact Satellites change from Communism to Free Enterprise Capitalism as was supposed to have occurred at the end of the Cold War (1989-1993), Government-Owned Assets had to be ‘PRIVATIZED.’  There are two different ways to do that.

When Margaret Thatcher addressed the impoverishment of the UK Common Citizens by privatizing Government-Owned Assets that the post-WWII Socialist government had institutionalized, she took the RATIONAL PATH.  Just as an illustrative example, BP (British Petroleum) was created as a private property corporation.  She followed a 2-step procedure.  Step 1 was to sell part ownership to the Public in the form of BP stock ownership.  At a second opportune time when the now private operation was functioning smoothly, the government (for a second profit) sold off the rest of its ‘stake,’ and left the enterprise entirely privatized.

The UK and its population flourished until the inconvenient Margaret Thatcher retired from Politics and the ever-present predatory crooked Politicians, Bureaucrats and Investment Bankers renewed their exploitation of Common Citizens with the ever-present BIG LIE that mandatory political change is done in the name of Social Justice.  Too bad, isn’t it?

No such Rational Privatization occurred in Russia, Ukraine and many other corrupted areas of USSR control.  In the Holy Name of the LAW, large government-owned assets, not limited to underground commodity wealth such as media and broadcasting assets, somehow were ‘privatized’ into western Investment Banking created corporations with a tiny number of Western-friendly crooked local political figures.  (Check out the Great Zelinsky’s sponsors for your own edification.)  The 1990s was the early period of the term Russian (and Ukrainian) OLIGARCHS.  Overnight billionaires bought luxury Western Real Estate, Mediterranean Yachts and put billions into Cyprus banks (and others) among many other hiding places for their ‘looting’ – all of which went unopposed by CIA-5I-EU politicians and their Expert and Authority allies in Higher Education and the Investment Banking Capital Worlds.  (Predatory devils like George Soros could never have become billionaires without crooked political allies.)

That illustrates the conniving top 1% of Soviet citizenry after the Cold War ended.  The other 99% of Common Citizens had two financial assets – bank savings and pension rights.  When this Irrational Privatization policy went into effect, foreign capital flooded the country.  You should not have to study Milton Friedman to understand that the vast inflation of the Russian money supply made the ruble almost worthless.  The wealth of the Common Citizens virtually disappeared.  The massive inflation of the currency was unaccompanied by ‘Inflation Adjustments.’  The impoverishment of the preponderance of Society continued throughout the 1990s.

In 1998, I watched on Blumberg TV a pathetic mob outside of a Russian Bank hoping to get their money out because the Nobel Prize winning proprietors and colleagues of Long Term Capital Management had turned international Capital Markets into the economic version of FUBAR.  (At that time, countries still resorted to currency devaluations which I wrote about in the four early Economic essays on this website so as to re-establish international Sovereign Credit in this FUBAR system albeit on a temporary basis.)

Putin was born in 1952, the son of two Russian patriots from St. Petersburg (then called Leningrad) whose two earlier children died – the first during the three-year German siege.  Just like every other ambitious Russian, he joined the KGB which alongside the Red Army literally were the institutions that materially ran everything.

[If you are an old hockey fan as I was in the 1970s, you will remember that the NHL-Soviet hockey series involved two Soviet teams.  That the Red Army sponsored Red Army Team is self-explanatory.  I did not understand back then until decades later when the Cold War ended that the ‘Dynamo’ team was sponsored by whatever the KGB was called back then.]

Putin was obviously a very superior student going through all forms of higher education and, by about the age of 30, was assigned to East Germany where Angela Merkel (2-years younger) was originally a student well before the Cold War ended.  I have read that the East German secret Communist police – the STASI – incorporated most of the entire population.  The smaller segment were regular government employees.  The much larger proportion were secretly spying on their colleagues for the government.  (If Angela Merkel were not such a spy, my supposition of her conniving political nature could be misguided.)

When the Cold War ended, Putin resigned from the KGB and returned to St. Petersburg (no longer called Leningrad) and went into local politics.

The President of 1990s Russia was a great bear of a man, Boris Yeltsin, a courageous and honest man – but naïve about human nature.  He was drinking himself to death in the 1990s.  Muslim Brotherhood recruited and trained Chechen terrorists in the 1990s began their atrocities massacring hundreds, maybe thousands, of Moscow civilians among others.  Russia was at war with such Chechens during the 1990s and again for many many years starting very shortly after 9/11.

[I have never understood why Western Governments and Institutions have never expressed sympathy for such victims other than my belated belief that Western Security Experts and Authorities have multiple decades-old careers attached to the two-part faithful security belief:  (1) Russia and Putin are an Existential Threat to Civilization and (2) the Muslim Brotherhood is just a minor ‘low-intensity’ annoyance to Civilization.  Even after the Cold War ended, so many have, for decades, continued to learn to read and speak Russian.  Even now, 24 years after 9/11, so few of such traitors to Civilization have learned to read and write and speak Arabic.  For decades, our side hires unreliable speakers of Arabic as translators.  Of course, they don’t all come to America and murder National Guardsmen on the streets of DC.]

In the last two years of the 1990s, a sickly Boris Yeltsin brought Putin to Moscow and finally got Putin to be his successor.  (In a much earlier essay, I recommended that the open-minded citizen should view the left-wing Oliver Stone movie of Edward Snowden and also “The Putin Interviews” that are both a decade old now.)

Putin has been the elected and re-elected autocratic leader of Russia since even before 9/11.  When he took over, the average Russian was virtually destitute.  Today they are not.  At least one famous mega-millionaire professional athlete from the West became a Russian Citizen because their top tax rate nationally is lower than the top state tax rate for both New York and California residents.  Russia has had, for many years now, a Sovereign Wealth fund like Norway and several other oil-rich nations.  In recent years, the crooked financial people of the EU have effectively stolen, in part (or perhaps in whole), Russian financial assets supposedly inviolate when ‘deposited’ in such Bullshit financial institutions.

The eternal pathetic truth about the Two-Tier Rule of Law (i.e., the Rule of Lawyers) in our world is that the ruling class can do anything that would be ‘ILLEGAL’ to outsiders if they want – and they can always get the EVIL SCUMBAG PRESS and all of their Judiciaries to declare as illegal anything an opponent does.

[That even one individual in the Ruling Class can ever say in public that Israel commits GENOCIDE in Gaza is the perfect example of the 100% Two-Tier Phony FUBAR world we live in.  What does ‘GENOCIDE’ mean?  What world declares October 7, 2023 or 9/11 merely ‘low-intensity warfare.’  Are 6,000,000 exterminated human beings not a real ‘Genocide’ and a real ‘Holocaust?’  What do words mean in the Judiciary and Rule of Law?]

Less than two months before Edward Snowden fled the Deep State and revealed how Americans are illegally (without ‘court orders’) casually surveilled by the Deep State, two Muslim Brotherhood Chechen terrorists bombed the April 2013 Boston Marathon.  Don’t you remember?  Putin’s Evil Russia had requested their extradition as ‘Terrorists.’  The FBI, then under Robert Muller (even before James Comey), ‘vetted’ them and found them approved for residency, welfare subsidy and cost-free higher education.

Part III:  Two Predictions for the Year 2100 if Civilization Survives

[The two-part Islamic IMPERIAL COLONIZATION Policy within today’s dying Civilization establishes an irreversible pattern based on two factors.  The most obvious is the imposition of legal v. illegal Speech Codes.  (The Judicial imposed Islamaphobia-phobia forestalls its termination over time because it forestalls verbal challenge.)  The second factor cannot even be expressed in language without the threat of criminal penalties.  Welfare subsidized reproduction will vastly outnumber pre-colonial citizenry generation by generation.  Eastern Europe and Latin America are the imponderables without those two factors.]

1. 1. Today’s Western Civilization, then living under Sharia law, will in 2100 not even know that Japan and Russia are rich, Civilized Free Speech Constitutionally Guaranteed Liberty and Private Citizen societies with Civility among its citizens. (There may well be allies in Latin America, Israel and Black Africa but that is not assured.)
   2. The wonderful Rush Limbaugh Pilgrim Thanksgiving story will be taught in the elementary schools of Civilization. (Socialism failed and the Colony was saved by Free Enterprise Private Party Capitalism.  I never learned this in New York City public school.  My wife learned it in Brooklyn Catholic school.  Way back then, the Roman Catholic Church feared Communism.)

Part IV:  Economic Facts

You should study the standard of living for Russian Common Citizens through the pre-Putin 1990s – year by year.  (The country was destitute also.)  Then do the same for Americans in the 1990s.

After that, you should do the same for Russian Common Citizens starting in 2000 when Putin took over and going forward.  Then do the same for ‘migration-enhanced’ America from 2000 to the present.  By 2000, America had paid off its entire ‘National Debt.’  The flim-flam Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan told foreign governments that could not put their Foreign Reserves in America into (non-existent National Debt) Treasury securities to put them into Fannie Mae bonds.  In subsequent years, Fannie Mae went bankrupt because of Democrat Party political corruption that negatively altered decades old standards.  The US National Debt today is somewhere well over 25 or 30 trillion dollars.

Putin’s Russia runs a surplus with foreign reserves in places like Japan, the US and the EU (all viable international currencies).  They also have that Sovereign Wealth fund because they do NOT need to ‘borrow capital’ internationally.  (The crooked EU, in part, has been ‘borrowing’ Russian wealth that they have on deposit to fund the colossal financial fraud that they call the Ukraine government.)

In Europe, the Deep State surveilles every one of their formerly free citizens who watches Russian Media on the Internet.  The Muslim Brotherhood recruits and ‘radicalizes’ their own residents and even ‘citizens’ to continue the ‘low-intensity war’ by murdering unimportant Common Citizens.  The Deep State is rich in Russian speakers but so understaffed in Arabic speakers that they hire ‘translators’ like the Afghan who murdered Sarah Beckstrom on a DC street in her National Guard uniform.  How do you monitor Muslim Brotherhood websites with an inadequate supply of 100% loyal to Civilization Arabic speakers?
