Part I: Introduction
Until the WWSOG-BOG began destroying Civilization with Mass Migration of millions of people from countries and cultures where individual ‘Honesty’ and ‘Trust’ was an option not legally enforced social rules and regulations, all of Western Civilization required full ‘Assimilation’ to the norms of the host country. That has not been the case under the WWSOG-BOG for over 35 years.
In 1987, President Ronald Reagan signed an ‘Immigration Law’ that was supposed to fulfill two functions.
One promise was that all future immigration would follow the generations-old process, including legal entry and passing the citizenship test that two generations of college graduates may or may not be able to pass today. The reason was that we had lots of illegal migrants, whether sneaking across the border, overstaying a visa, etc. However, they mostly worked at low-level jobs and did not break the law with crime, welfare fraud, illegal voting, etc.
The 1987 law allowed them citizenship rights – however, it is my impression that they had to pass the citizenship test in order to vote. (Maybe I am wrong?)
[Over forty years ago, there was a very poignant movie starring Jack Nicholson and Harvey Keitel called “The Border” depicting the small-scale illegal migration of poor Mexicans seeking low-level employment but only on a temporary basis. I certainly do not remember foreign drug and other crime gangs until well after Reagan left office. (In 1997, the movie “Men in Black” opens with border guards catching a truckload of such illegal migrants simply looking for low-level work on a temporary basis to make money for their poor families back home.) That was then – now is very different.]
The other promise was that law-abiding non-citizens who had lived here for a substantial period of time could immediately follow the regular route to citizenship without first being deported and then readmitted.
Part II: The Question
Born as an American citizen before the end of WWII to two adults who had been born as American citizens early in the 20th Century, I never even heard the term ‘Chain Migration’ until long after Reagan left office. One unassimilatible migrant could apparently ‘sponsor’ an endless number of unvetted hypothetical ‘relatives’ who can immediately go on welfare. How and when this insanity happened in Western Civilization is an enormously irritating ‘black hole’ in my knowledge.
My wife’s Neapolitan enormous extended family includes stories of members sent back. In “The Godfather” movies, young Vito Andolini (from Corleone, Sicily) was meticulously checked for disease. (The return of such diseases as tuberculosis to America is, in my mind, associated with unchecked Mass Migration. I came up with that association in my own imagination – it was never in the EVIL SCUMBAG PRESS.)
Part III: The Proposal
Any country stupid enough to allow unassimilated migrants cannot possibly retain its culture and standards – just from sheer numbers and birthrates.
Since the overwhelmingly predominant threat to Civilized countries comes from unassimilated Islamic migrants, whether on American college campuses or French or Swedish ‘No Go Zones’ where even the national police are too afraid to go, I suggest the Gallup Poll people do Civilization a favor. I suggest that each and every Islamic migrant answer the question: ‘Would you prefer to live under Sharia Law or the laws of the country you migrated to?’
A mere 1% of the Sharia Law favoring migrants should be individually monitored the exact same way that the WWSOG-BOG seeks to obliterate any one or any thing that they choose to label as ‘Racist’ or ‘Discriminatory’?
Aren’t you curious as to what percentage of Islamic migrants and their descendants can ever assimilate? If you sincerely believe that is Hate Speech, I pity you and I truly tremble for the future of my country and Civilization.
