Question: When is an AP described ‘clash’ really a ‘clash?’
Answer: Virtually never! They use the word ‘clash’ when a minor fabricated violent dispute is created to justify a pre-planned massacre.
PART I – THEN
William L. Shirer, the author of “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” (Book #1 on the list of 27 books at the bottom of the “About the Book” page on this website), was the Associated Press Bureau Chief in Berlin from before Hitler’s rise to power until shortly after Pearl Harbor (December 7, 1941) when he and other American journalists and diplomats were repatriated to the USA when America went to war against Nazi Germany. Shirer writes a very interesting introduction to WWII in Europe when Germany attacks Poland (with their then ally the USSR joining in within a fortnight). There are two important FACTS that have stuck in my mind since I first read this great book in the 1960s. (I have reread many parts of this book right on up to the present period.)
FACT I
Hitler’s intimidation policy began in 1934 with the illegal German militarization of the Rhineland and repeated in several episodes all leading to ‘kicking the can down the road’ by UK and French appeasement. Appeasement of EVIL works perfectly in the short-run – but at the expense of further empowering EVIL for the long haul. Though almost everyone knows the ‘Munich story’ in 1938 when Czechoslovakia is betrayed, few know the SKODA armament works of Czechoslovakia practically doubled Hitler’s capacity for war machines – especially warplanes.
By the September 1, 1939 attack on Poland that began WWII in Europe, Shirer writes that the German public had become largely desensitized to the possibility of Real War beginning because cowardly Western Appeasement had been going on for over five years. When it finally really began, many Germans could see the Hoax that Hitler used but were no longer politically able to object. It just happened.
FACT II – THE HOAX
Evil aggressors always blame their innocent victims for the need for Social Justice via violent means. Hitler was no exception. Slightly before his Wehrmacht crossed the border with Poland, a photographic political hoax was created. Prisoners released from prison, attired in Polish army uniforms, were shot dead on the German side of the border with the photographs of their dead bodies widely published in the then Nazi-controlled newspapers and magazines.
Many intelligent Germans that Shirer knew could see through the Hoax but were powerless to publicly object. And so, the war began.
PART II – NOW
The AP and the rest of the ‘News Industry’ and Civilization in general have come a long way since September 1, 1939 and, in many ways, not for the better. Today’s WWSOG-BOG’s cartel-like EVIL SCUMBAG PRESS are the opposite of a world-wide international free and truly competitive news industry that existed when Hitler attacked Poland in 1939,
This week began with the Evil Muslim Brotherhood’s new government in Syria reviving its massacre of religious dissenters’ policy which began some weeks ago in northwest Syria against Alawite civilians and the eternal target of the Evil Muslim Brotherhood all across the world, especially in Africa, against CHRISTIANS.
The previous massacre in Syria (after the Muslim Brotherhood government was de-sanctioned by western civilization) was dutifully ‘reported’ as beginning with ‘CLASHES’ between Sunni Arabs and their Alawite victims. This led to no longer secret massacres with the Evil Muslim Brotherhood government CLAIMING to have intervened, arresting the ‘outsider’ Jihadists. No Western Appeasement government or institution has offered any factual information of a true suppression of such BARBARIC behavior. Not even the perpetually phony ‘private reassurances.’ For all I know, the Barbarian leaders got ‘promoted’ – perhaps right into the official government military.
This time the Druze are in the crosshairs – and there are almost three-quarters of a million of them in Syria – more than half the world-wide total population. Notwithstanding the inevitable disinformation of the EVIL SCUMBAG PRESS (obviously designed in collaboration with the College-Educated ‘Political Wing’ of the Evil Muslim Brotherhood), there are a few interesting facts about the Druze faith and faithful. (Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s chief propagandist, never heard a shot fired in anger – was the leader of Hitler’s POLITICAL WING; but he would have been executed as a war criminal if his suicide, along with that of his wife and many children, had not avoided the Rule of Law of CIVILIZATION.)
FACT I
They have always been herdsmen of sheep in the mountainous areas predominantly of Syria, Lebanon and Israel. Since the invention of Islam in the beginning of the 7th century, they have been living in a Muslim area of the world. They self-describe as a unique ‘branch’ of Islam and have so for centuries.
FACT II
They fought alongside the native Palestinian Jews and Holocaust surviving migrants that founded the State of Israel in 1948-49. They fought against the invading Arab armies of Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and the Emirate of Trans-Jordan (which was commanded by a British colonel).
FACT III
Israeli Druze, by their own choice, are conscripted into the IDF, mostly but not exclusively as ‘Border Guards.’ (Many in regular army volunteer roles have died heroically since October 7, 2023.)
FACT IV
I have very limited knowledge about the Druze religion – but I do know the following. As Abraham, buried in the Hebrew capital of Hebron four millennia ago, was their Patriarch, so the Patriarch of the Druze faith is a man written about in the book of Exodus by the name of Jethro. Except for those in our world raised as dogmatic anti-religion Atheists from infancy (not limited to ‘Red Diaper Babies’) most everyone knows the story of Moses. Around three and a half millennia ago, when Moses is ‘kicked out’ of Egypt and heads to the Sinai, he eventually encounters a family of seven daughters of a herdsman Sheik named Jethro. Most of mankind, for many centuries, have worn clothes made from wool raised by herdsmen. (A ten-year old Ridley Scott movie of the Exodus is a great dramatization.)
Jethro’s oldest daughter, Zipporah, marries Moses and bears him a son named Gershon. After returning under the Almighty God’s guidance to Egypt and freeing close to half of the willing Hebrew slaves, Moses reunites with his wife and child and leads the migration to Canaan land, the area that the Almighty God gives to his Hebrew followers in their ‘Covenant,’ sanctified with the Ark of the Covenant and those Ten Commandments so trivialized by the world for so many generations.
[Centuries later, in the reign of King David (the boy slayer of Goliath), the Capital of the Hebrews is moved from Hebron to the newer city of Jerusalem. David’s son, King Solomon, builds the First Temple which lasts for half a millennium until a Babylonian Tyrant named Nebuchadnezzar who destroys it and seizes the population as Babylonian slaves.
[The creator of the Persian Dynasty, Cyrus the Great, overthrows the Babylonian tyranny and frees their Hebrew slaves who return to their capital and build the Second Temple, the one destroyed by the Roman Empire in the year 69.
[Almost all of this real history was just a set of stories to me until I was almost forty years old and had begun to ‘grow up’ about Philosophy, Rational Politics (i.e., Individual Liberty) and the History of the Ancient World. Needless to say, my Jewish Reform Bar Mitzvah and Education did not really educate me at all.]
